NARRATOR
Female
DESCRIPTION: She is the storyteller, sets the mood for the entire show.
LINE 01: It was a beautiful spring day. Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading.
LINE 02: As they walked hand-in-hand together through the tall blades of summer grass, Victoria pictured to herself how this same little sister of hers would, be herself a grown woman; and how she would keep, through all her years, the simple and loving heart of childhood.

White Rabbit
Male

LINE 02: (PLEADING THOUGH SOBS) I’m a poor man, your Majesties!
————————————————————————————–
King of Hearts
Male

LINE 02: You ought to have finished before coming to court, it might spill. When did you begin?
————————————————————————————–
Gryphon

LINE 01: It is the King. You can see it’s him under the wig, which is under the crown, which is on the King, who sits on the throne.
LINE 02: What! Never heard of uglifying! You know what to beautify is, I suppose?
————————————————————————————–
Mock Turtle
Male/Female
DESCRIPTION: He seems to be very sad and constantly sobs. He tells Alice about his schooldays.
LINE 01: Ancient and modern, with Seaography: then Drawling–the Drawling-master was an old conger-eel, that used to come once a week: HE taught us Drawling, Stretching, and Fainting in Coils.
LINE 02: Two lines! Seals, turtles, salmon, and so on; then, when you’ve cleared all the jelly-fish out of the way-
————————————————————————————–
Dormouse
Male/Female
DESCRIPTION: Another member of the tea party and witness. He constantly falls asleep and is mistreated by the Hare and the Hatter.
LINE 01: (TALKING IN SLEEP) Of course, of course; just what I was going to remark myself.

————————————————————————————–

————————————————————————————–

LINE 02: (DEEPEST CONTEMPT) A likely story INDEED! I’ve seen a good many little girls in my time, but never ONE with such a neck as that. No, no! You’re a serpent; and there’s no use denying it. I suppose you’ll be telling me next that you never tasted an egg.
————————————————————————————–

————————————————————————————–
Pat
Male/Female
